The story
Western Australia, November 1932. Wheat farmers asked the army for help against thousands of emus eating their crops. The army sent Major G. P. W. Meredith, a small unit and two machine guns.

The emus split into small groups and ran. A month and nearly ten thousand rounds later, the soldiers went home. Meredith said that with a division of birds like these he could face any army in the world.

The emus stayed.

The print

Cut archive collage, printed free-form on cotton, one spot red. Inside the neck: the turned F and Hoc non est tunica.

Every shirt is numbered by hand and comes with its story card, printed like an old newspaper.

Each Plate is limited to 100 shirts, signed and numbered. The signature and your number go on the certificate and on the story card, printed like an old newspaper.
